Ukraine escalates air war with drone strikes

Ukrainian drone attacks on Wildberries logistics hubs in Russia have resulted in at least eight deaths and multiple injuries, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict.

The strikes targeted facilities linked to Russia’s largest online retailer, igniting fires and prompting evacuations in the Moscow and Tambov areas.

Wildberries attacked

Videos revealed the chaos as employees fled from the sites while drones targeted the warehouses.

Ukraine’s actions are part of a broader strategy to disrupt Russia’s war capabilities by hitting supply lines linked to the military.

The attacks come as Russian President Vladimir Putin faces declining approval ratings amid sustained drone strikes on his nation.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated the strikes are a response aimed at crippling Russia’s war effort by targeting critical logistics for drones.

Wildberries, however, has not commented on the allegations against it.

Founder Tatiana Kim characterized the incident as tragic for both the company and the nation.

The business claims minimal disruption to operations and announced compensation of two million rubles ($25,000) for families of victims and one million rubles for the injured.

Wildberries remains committed to maintaining a steady supply of goods to its customers.
