Ukraine authorities have claimed they hit a Russian ammunitions depot in its Russian-occupied southern region

Ukraine authorities claim they have destroyed a Russian ammunitions depot in parts of the country currently under Russian control.

According to authorities, the depot was in the city of Nova Kakhovka, in southern Ukraine, and it killed dozens of soldiers.

Russian occupation officials say the attack instead hit homes and warehouses, and killed seven people, injuring up to 80 more.

Footage has been posted to social media purporting to show the moment Ukrainians targeted the depot using US-supplied missiles.
