British tourists will now be allowed to enter Portugal from next Monday.
The announcement was made by the Portuguese foreign ministry who says tourism authorities have been ensuring that testing capacity in Portugal will meet the demand from tourists.
Portugal is on the UK’s “green” list for unrestricted travel departing from the UK and now this announcement makes it a two-way transit route.
Coronavirus is still causing concern in Portugal and the country has extended its state of emergency until May 30th.
