Hunter Biden will be top target of GOP investigators in the next Congress

Twitter CEO Elon Musk has made released recently recovered documents that reportedly show how the social media platform covered up the Hunter Biden laptop story just weeks before the 2020 election.

Emails allegedly show staffers supporting dubious claims that the Hunter Biden story relied on hacked information even as other staffers expressed their own doubts.

Additionally, FBI officials allegedly met with Twitter employees weekly leading up to the 2020 election to discuss “hack-and-leak operations” regarding to Hunter Biden.

More than 50 former intelligence officials signed a letter in October 2020—shortly before the Presidential Election—expressing doubt on a New York Post story revealing the contents of a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden.

At the same time, Twitter blocked the New York Post’s report.

The laptop was Hunter Biden’s and now Republicans are promising investigations into the Biden family to determine if U.S. President Joe Biden is compromised or a national security threat due to the Biden’s overseas business dealings.

More emails show Twitter caving to the demands of political operatives across the spectrum and ultimately deciding what users were allowed to see.

“This was a cover-up at the highest levels of the government to protect Joe Biden,” Rep. James Comer a Republican from Kentucky said. “Let’s remember what they’re protecting here. They’re protecting the laptop and the contents of the laptop, which show not only did Joe Biden know full well what his son and his brothers were doing with respect to influence peddling with our adversaries, it shows that Joe Biden was very involved with this effort, and this is something that should concern every American.”

Crude oil surges 7% amid fears of Middle East conflict; Strait of Hormuz disruptions may push Brent over $100.

Crude oil prices spiked dramatically as investors react to the growing risk of a wider conflict in the Middle East. U.S. crude surged 7.2 percent, trading near $71.84 a barrel, signalling heightened concern across energy markets.

The Strait of Hormuz, a critical shipping chokepoint, has come under intense scrutiny. Rising war-risk insurance premiums and suspended tanker traffic are already slowing the movement of oil, creating ripple effects in global supply chains.

JPMorgan has warned that prolonged disruptions over three weeks could force Gulf producers to reduce output, potentially pushing Brent crude prices to between $100 and $120 a barrel. Markets are closely watching for developments that could reshape global energy pricing.
