Hunter Biden will be top target of GOP investigators in the next Congress

Twitter CEO Elon Musk has made released recently recovered documents that reportedly show how the social media platform covered up the Hunter Biden laptop story just weeks before the 2020 election.

Emails allegedly show staffers supporting dubious claims that the Hunter Biden story relied on hacked information even as other staffers expressed their own doubts.

Additionally, FBI officials allegedly met with Twitter employees weekly leading up to the 2020 election to discuss “hack-and-leak operations” regarding to Hunter Biden.

More than 50 former intelligence officials signed a letter in October 2020—shortly before the Presidential Election—expressing doubt on a New York Post story revealing the contents of a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden.

At the same time, Twitter blocked the New York Post’s report.

The laptop was Hunter Biden’s and now Republicans are promising investigations into the Biden family to determine if U.S. President Joe Biden is compromised or a national security threat due to the Biden’s overseas business dealings.

More emails show Twitter caving to the demands of political operatives across the spectrum and ultimately deciding what users were allowed to see.

“This was a cover-up at the highest levels of the government to protect Joe Biden,” Rep. James Comer a Republican from Kentucky said. “Let’s remember what they’re protecting here. They’re protecting the laptop and the contents of the laptop, which show not only did Joe Biden know full well what his son and his brothers were doing with respect to influence peddling with our adversaries, it shows that Joe Biden was very involved with this effort, and this is something that should concern every American.”

In Short:
– Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 38% due to concerns over costs and the Epstein investigation.
– Only 26% of Americans approve of Trump’s handling of everyday expenses amidst rising inflation.
A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll indicates U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 38%, marking the lowest level since his return to power. Dissatisfaction stems from rising living costs and concerns regarding the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. The four-day poll, concluding on November 18, reveals only 26% of Americans approve of Trump’s management of everyday expenses. Increasing public concern regarding inflation has further eroded support. The Republican-controlled House recently passed a measure to release Justice Department files on Epstein, an issue Trump initially resisted but later supported.

Poll findings show Trump’s overall approval has declined two points since early November. He began his second term with a 47% approval rating, now nearing lows seen during his first term. Biden’s approval fell as low as 35%, reflective of economic discontent.

Republican Support Wanes

Trump’s approval rating among Republican voters is now 82%, a decrease from 87% earlier this month. The perception that he is not adequately addressing living costs is a significant concern, contributing to reduced popularity among constituents. Notably, only 20% approve of Trump’s handling of the Epstein case, with 70% believing the government is withholding information.

Trump’s economic strategy, which included tax increases on imports, has been criticized for contributing to rising prices. As midterm elections approach, his declining popularity may pose challenges for Republican candidates in upcoming races.
