Trump won’t speak?

Former U.S. President, Donald Trump, is being ridiculed today for invoking the 5th Amendment

Donald Trump has pleaded his fifth amendment right, declining to comment on the civil lawsuit looking into the Trump Organisation, in New York.

In a statement he says, “under the advice of my counsel and for all of the above reasons, I declined to answer the questions under the rights and privileges afforded to every citizen under the United States Constitution.”

The lawsuit is trying to determine whether the Trump organisation misled lenders, insurers and tax authorities.

Critics are now rushing to slam Trump’s decision not the answer questions because he previously claimed only guilty people don’t speak.

It’s been an eventful legal week for the former President and comes after his Palm Beach residence was raided by the FBI in a separate case.

However, Trump insists this is “the greatest Witch Hunt in U.S. history! My great company, and myself, are being attacked from all sides. Banana Republic!”
