Trump sues Hillary Clinton, alleges conspiracy to link to Russia

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has filed a lawsuit against Hilary Clinton

The lawsuit alleges that Clinton and the Democratic National Committee made up a link between the Trump campaign and Russia.

“Under the guise of ‘opposition research,’ ‘data analytics,’ and other political stratagems, the Defendants nefariously sought to sway the public’s trust.”

TRUMP’S LAWSUIT

Trump says the claims triggered an “unfounded federal investigation” and a “media frenzy.”

A federal investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties with Russia found several associates lied about their political efforts.

It also found that the campaign sought to capitalise on Russia’s interference in the 2016 U.S. election.

The Trump lawsuit says the plan was to create and leak a series of false reports about connections between the Trump campaign and Russia to both the FBI and the media.

The lawsuit details when those reports were proved false, the Clinton campaign hacked Trump Tower and the White House to manipulate data.

Trump and members of his immediate family were recently ordered to answer questions in a New York investigation into their business practices.

Trump claims Iran’s military largely neutralized; tensions rise with attacks threatening air travel and oil shipping.

President Trump says Iran’s military capability has been largely neutralised, including its navy and air force, as the conflict in the Middle East intensifies. Iranian attacks have threatened commercial air travel and oil shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, raising fears of wider economic fallout.

The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh has faced two attacks, while Gulf states worked to intercept further Iranian strikes. Officials report six U.S. troops killed and more than 700 deaths inside Iran as the exchange of fire escalates.

With global markets watching closely, the region remains on edge as military and diplomatic tensions show no signs of easing.
