Tributes for Goodfellas actor, passing away at age 67

American actor Ray Liotta has died at the age of 67

The veteran actor died in his sleep on Thursday in the Dominican Republic, where he was filming “Dangerous Waters”, a movie about a sailing holiday that goes wrong after family secrets are revealed.

Liotta is best known for his role in the hit crime film “Goodfellas”, playing mobster Henery Hill.

Born in 1954 in New Jersey, the actor also played the role of baseballer Shoeless Joe Jackson in “Field of Dreams.”

Liotta leaves behind his daughter, Karsen and fiance, Jacy Nittolo

There is no suspicion his death was caused by foul play.
