Top Xbox executive announces resignation

The head of Xbox’s research and design team is leaving the company after nearly 20 years

Chris Novak has led the Xbox Game Pass experience, and other ventures like Cloud Gaming and Xbox Live.

In a post shared on social media, he says “building end-to-end experiences for gamers is a privilege”.

The Microsoft owned company is where Novak learned all about the world of gaming. He says the whole experience has been something he will “tremendously treasure”.

While the tech giant does have some ground to cover to match other players in the sector like Sony, Novak is confident that his products have put the company in a strong position.
