A one-year-old has died after shooting himself with an unsecured gun
The Missouri toddler had easy access to the weapon which ultimately led to the fatal accident.
Police say “the boy was barely conscious and barely breathing when paramedics rushed him to hospital,” where he later succumbed to injuries.
A Police officer at the scene says it was a “terrible tragedy that never should have happened.”
They’re urging all firearm owners to be responsible with their care and use of dangerous weapons.
