The War in Ukraine has caused devastation to the country’s healthcare system, with 200 critical care facilities attacked since Russia invaded

It’s understood that over 200 attacks have rocked Ukraine’s healthcare facilities since the start of the war.

The World Health Organisation is urging Russia to stop the violence amid a worsening humanitarian crisis.

The Director-General has left Kyiv, but says the WHO will continue to support Ukraine. 

It comes as residents remain hidden in basement shelters when the shelling gets too close.

Meanwhile, the EU celebrated “Europe Day” with leaders using the occasion to express their solidarity with Ukraine.

The US Pentagon also says they have ‘seen indications that some Ukrainians are being moved to Russia against their will’

President Vladimir Putin has tried to defend the war in Ukraine during his Victory Day speech.
