Thanksgiving reminds us of high inflation

Crowds lined Manhattan streets to watch the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.

The 96th parade included 16 character balloons and 28 floats.

The parade featured 4000 volunteers across a 4 kilometres long route.

New York City’s mayor paying tribute to all those working today.

But since last year, the cost of that big Turkey dinner has skyrocketed.

Grocery prices are up 13 percent in the US, and just about every component of a traditional thanksgiving dinner has increased in price over the past year.
