A group of scientists in South Korea may have come up with a way to let people know if they have health problems through the use of a bespoke tattoo

The electronic tattoo ink is made up of both liquid metal and carbon, which actually functions as a bio-electrode.

The medical detection device can be hooked up to an ECG machine, and send an instant readout of a patient’s heart rate and other vital signs such glucose levels.

In the future, researchers hope to connect a wireless chip integrated with this ink, and send an instant signal back and forth between a human and an external device.
