Taiwan shoots down unidentified civilian drone near China
Taiwan has shot down an unidentified drone over an Island near China
The island is just a few kilometres from mainland China, in the Kinmen county, and is controlled by Taiwan.
After warning flares failed to drive it away, it was shot down immediately.
It hasn’t been confirmed who is behind the drones, but China’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs denies any involvement.
Similar drones have been spotted near the island recently but this is the first to be shot down by Taiwan.
