Jailed Samsung chief has been released on parole in South Korea
Billionaire Samsung Chief Lee Jay-Yong has spent 18 months in prison for a massive corruption scandal that triggered nation-wide protests.
The scandal led to the ousting of South Korea’s President at the time.
Lee runs the Samsung group and is the vice chairman of Samsung Electronics, one of the world’s largest makers of computer memory chips and smartphones.
