Ukraine’s military data indicated that none of the 23 ballistic missiles launched by Russia were intercepted.

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed concern over the lack of interceptor systems capable of stopping ballistic projectiles.

He stated that Ukraine could produce the needed weapons if granted U.S. licenses for Patriot systems.

Zelenskiy urged strong action at the NATO summit in Turkey to bolster Ukraine’s defence capabilities.

Official data showed Ukraine managed to shoot down only four out of 49 missiles fired in July.

Zelenskiy warned that the presence of Patriot missiles in allied stockpiles encourages ongoing destruction from Russia.

Ukraine’s air force confirmed the interception of 37 missiles and over 90% of drones used during the attack.

The strikes resulted in 16 deaths in Kyiv, while 10 fatalities were recorded in the surrounding region.

Emergency Services noted significant damage to nearly 30 buildings in Kyiv.

Rescue efforts continued as crews searched for survivors amidst the debris.

Local reports indicated a family of three was recovered from collapsed structures.

Russia’s defence ministry claimed responsibility for a large-scale attack on multiple locations in Ukraine.
