Rudy Giuliani will not face criminal charges, after he was accused of violating U.S. lobbying laws

Federal investigators in April 2021 seized 16 electronic devices that belonged to Giuliani, and after reviewing them, the decision to drop the charges was made. Giuliani was accused of trying to dig up dirt on the Biden family in Ukraine, to benefit former President Donald Trump, and whether he breached the Foreign Agents Registrations Act. While acting as Trump’s lawyer, Giuliani had interactions with Ukrainian officials, allegedly trying to find out more about Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, ahead of the 20-20 Presidential campaign. Giuliani maintained he had done nothing wrong during the investigation.
