Australia’s newly-elected Prime Minister is on his way to Tokyo to meet with Quad Allies

Indo-Pacific security and economic issues will be front of mind during the key meeting between Australia, the U.S, Japan and India.

We spoke with the U.S Studies Centre, who told Ticker NEWS that Prime Minister Albanese will click with President Biden.

President Biden has touched down in Tokyo, where he will meet Japan’s leader Fumio Kishida for bilateral talks.

Biden spent two days in South Korea to discuss trade, COVID-19 and “growing concerns about North Korea’s nuclear program” with South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, according to The Associated Press.

Right now, Biden will meet other leaders of the Indo-Pacific alliance known as the Quad.

The world are expected to discuss China’s growing influence in the region.
