The upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be alcohol free
Football fans will be able to attend booze stalls before and after some select matches at the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
It comes as Qatar becomes the first Muslim country to host the international football tournament, which has led to the strict rules over alcohol consumption.
International brands who rely on sponsorship and alcohol sales are set to be affected.
Visitors are banned from carrying alcohol into Qatar, even if it is from airport duty free.
Fans will also be barred from shopping at the country’s only liquor store, which is located on the outskirts of Doha.
