How does the preview process work?

After your interview, you’ll be emailed a code and link to access a preview copy of your Insight interview. This preview is for view only and must not be shared.

There are purchase options on that page if you would like to buy the license for the interview. If a license is not purchased, a downloadable video file is not included.

Why am I offered licensing at the time of booking?

Ticker operates differently from traditional media companies. We don’t charge viewers to watch our content, and we don’t rely on advertising alone. Instead, we give guests the option to secure a professionally produced, licensed interview at the time of booking or purchase a license after viewing the preview.

This ensures clarity upfront and allows you to create a high-quality television interview that you can confidently use across LinkedIn, websites, presentations and social media, without restrictions.

What’s included with a licensed interview?

Licensed interviews include a professionally produced MP4 video cleared for reuse. Depending on the package selected, this may also include extended replay on Ticker, featured articles, photography, or additional distribution.

What can I do with a licensed video?

Once licensed, you’re free to use your interview to:

• Share on your website, LinkedIn, YouTube and other social platforms
• Include in marketing campaigns, media kits or investor materials
• Use in presentations, events and showreels
• Showcase your appearance on television with full usage rights

Can I edit the video?

Yes. You may create shorter clips or highlights, provided edits do not alter the meaning, context, or editorial integrity of the interview.

Can I screen record the broadcast or preview?

No. Screen recording or reposting broadcast footage or the preview copy without a license breaches our copyright policy and reduces content quality. Licensed videos are professionally mastered and cleared for reuse.

What happens if I don’t purchase a license?

Your interview may still be broadcast and may appear on Ticker’s platforms. However, if you do not purchase a license, you will not receive a downloadable video file or usage rights beyond viewing the preview copy.

Can I use a licensed interview for advertising?

You may amplify and promote your licensed interview across your own channels. However, the license does not permit:

• Editing that misrepresents the discussion
• Presenting the interview as an endorsement by Ticker

Can Ticker make edits or changes on my behalf?

To protect editorial independence, we do not revise interviews after recording. However, Ticker Studios offers separate content production services for partner brands and commercial projects.

Can I become a regular guest on Ticker?

Ticker works with a small number of regular contributors across specialist topics. These guests are positioned as industry leaders and often license their interviews for ongoing use. To enquire, email partnerships@tickernews.co with a short overview of your expertise.
