The gig raised 12.2 million pounds, and featured performances from Ed Sheeran and Camila Cabello.
Jamala also gave an impassioned rendition of her Eurovision-winning track ’19-44′. The song is about her grandmother fleeing Crimea at the hands of Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin during World War 2.
The singer herself fled Kyiv with her children at the start of the war. She says “it was really hard, but I am here.”
The funds from the concert will go to a humanitarian appeal for those who have fled the war-torn nation.
