In California, at least 15 police officers have been caught texting about killing black people

The racist messages came to light during an investigation into the killing of 23 year old Christopher DeAndre Mitchell, by two officers.

A group of police, including the one’s who shot him were discussing the incident over text.

The messages showed racial and homophobic slurs, and conversations about slaughtering black people, including children.

Nearly all of the officers involved are still employed by the Police Department.

This follows increased police brutality against minority groups in America.
