Parents leave prams at Poland’s train stations for escaping Ukrainian families

Prams with blankets are lining the platforms at a train station in Poland and the reason is leaving people heartbroken

A photo circulating on Twitter shows at least seven prams left by Polish mums to help Ukrainian parents escaping the war with their babies in their arms.

The thoughtful gesture has prompted a large spell of praise on social media.

Around 80,000 people are crossing the 300-mile border between Ukraine and Poland every day.

It’s believed over 1.5 million refugees have fled the embattled country since Russia invaded 12 days ago.

Ukrainian citizens killed while trying to flee war-torn country

Despite thousands of people safely making it out of the country alive, Russian soldiers are deliberately killing Ukrainian civilians trying to flee, it’s been reported.

ticker NEWS understands that hundreds of Ukrainians were using a small bridge to flee Irpin, near Kyiv, before it was partially blown up.

Media footage revealed that people still tried making the distance on foot below to escape the ongoing fighting, with Ukrainian soldiers assisting the elderly and young children.
