You might be able to enjoy the perks of a Tesla supercharger – even if your EV isn’t a Tesla

Tesla is expanding its open supercharger pilot program in Europe.

Under the programme, owners of non-Tesla EVs can take advantage of the company’s extensive charging network.

It means those who own an electric car that isn’t a Tesla will be able to charge their car faster using the supercharger.

Up until now the pilot programme consisted of select stations in The Netherlands, Norway, and France, but now it’s also available in the UK, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, and Austria.

Meanwhile Tesla boss Elon Musk has hinted at extending the programme to parts of the United States.
