Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu vows not to back down after attack
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remains resolute despite a reported drone attack on his home.
In a post on X, Netanyahu described the attempt by Iran-backed Hezbollah to assassinate him and his wife as a “grave mistake.”
The Israeli military confirmed that three drones were launched from Lebanon, with one hitting a building in Caesarea.
Officials didn’t confirm if it was part of the PM’s residence, but the US outlet Axios claims the drone struck his home.
Netanyahu and his wife were unharmed as they were not present at the time.
Iran’s state news agency says Hezbollah was behind the attack, but Hezbollah has yet to comment.
The incident raises tensions between Israel, Iran, and their regional proxies.
