There has been a bombing at a mosque in Kabul, killing at least 10 people and wounding 27 more

Those caught up in the blast include a prominent cleric, and several children have also been injured.

This is one in a growing number of attacks on the Afghan capital since the Taliban took control of the country more than a year ago.

No terror group has claimed responsibility at this stage, but Afghanistan’s Islamic State affiliate has been responsible for several previous attacks recently.

Just last week, the I-S killed a prominent Taliban cleric, also in Kabul.

It’s believed the explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber.
