Australian activist and founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange, is facing charges for publishing U.S. military documents relating to the Afghanistan and Iraq wars
Now, his lawyers and two journalists are suing the US Central Intelligence Agency for spying on them while they were with Assange.
They insist the CIA recorded their private conversations and copied confidential data from their phones and computers.
As Americans, they’re claiming their “US constitutional protections for confidential discussions” have been violated.
If true, the spying allegations could destroy the case against Assange all together.
