An Iraqi man in the U.S. is being accused of being linked to ISIS operatives, who are seeking to assassinate President George Bush

Forbes is reporting that the operatives were going to travel to Dallas this November.

The details have been revealed by the FBI who worked with two informants to discover the plans on the alleged plotter’s WhatsApp account.

The suspect is based in Ohio, and says he wanted to assassinate Bush because he felt the former president was responsible for the deaths of Iraqis.

There have been some concerns that the FBI has been limited by encryption on these tech platforms.

But it’s believed agents used an old-school way of policing through the use of informants.

ISIS has been weakened by American intelligence and military operations in recent years.
