Priscilla Hajiantoni shares her journey in beauty brand Bangn Body on The Founders Method podcast
In Short:
– Priscilla Hajiantoni developed Bangn Body products to heal her skin issues after years of suffering from acne and eczema.
– The brand prioritises effective, multipurpose body care while fostering community engagement and sustainable growth before global expansion.
On this episode of The Founders Method, hosted by Jesse Leeworthy and Jonno Byrt, Priscilla Hajiantoni shares how she built Bangn Body from a deeply personal struggle into one of Australia’s most recognisable beauty brands.
Her journey began with over 15 years of battling hormonal acne and eczema, which ultimately inspired her to create “face-approved body care” designed to simplify routines with effective, multi-use products that also help consumers save money.
What followed was a long and costly commitment to getting the product right. Priscilla spent three years developing formulations she believed could genuinely improve skin health, even investing her house deposit into the business.
Her dedication to quality led her to walk away from her first manufacturer after losing $100,000, unwilling to compromise on standards that didn’t meet her expectations.

That persistence eventually paid off with Bangn Body’s first hero product, the now-famous “yellow tube” firming lotion, which has since sold more than 600,000 units in Australia.
Beyond product development, Priscilla focused heavily on building community before launch, spending two and a half years growing an engaged Instagram following grounded in real conversations and consumer insight.
That approach remains central today, with Priscilla still personally responding to messages and comments while also hosting ticketed events to strengthen real-world connections and gather feedback.
Rather than chasing rapid global expansion, she has chosen to consolidate success in the Australian market first, prioritising quality, sustainability, and customer alignment over trend-driven growth.
