Footage from the incident captured the commuter plane with its front smashed and leaning in the air.
The injured firefighters are members of the Port Authority Police Department.
Approximately 100 passengers were onboard the aircraft, and their conditions are currently being assessed. Reports indicate that the flight was transporting a group of Orthodox Jews from the New York area.
