FBI agents search U.S. President Joe Biden’s beach house

Biden’s attorneys say the records have been turned over to the proper authorities and are part of the ongoing investigation

The F.B.I. have searched U.S. President Joe Biden’s vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

It comes after the discovery of several batched of classified documents discovered in Biden’s offices at Penn Biden Center and his Wilmington, Delaware home back in November.

The White House has repeatedly declined to comment on the levels of specific classification and the contents of the classified records— with some materials dating back to Biden’s time as vice-President in the Obama administration and when Biden was a U.S. Senator 14 years ago.

Ian Sams, a spokesperson for the White House Counsel’s office spoke with reporters outside the White House after news broke about a third search.

He also avoided reporters’ questions about any potential searches in additional locations saying, “Look, I think we’re providing information as this goes on and answering questions about the search activities as they’ve been happening.”

According to Biden’s attorneys, the records have been turned over to the proper authorities and are part of the ongoing investigation.

Meanwhile, members of Congress both sides of the aisle are demanding to have access to the classified documents discovered in Biden’s possession to determine if they pose a national security risk.

The F.B.I. and D.O.J. are not commenting on this ongoing investigation.

Crude oil surges 7% amid fears of Middle East conflict; Strait of Hormuz disruptions may push Brent over $100.

Crude oil prices spiked dramatically as investors react to the growing risk of a wider conflict in the Middle East. U.S. crude surged 7.2 percent, trading near $71.84 a barrel, signalling heightened concern across energy markets.

The Strait of Hormuz, a critical shipping chokepoint, has come under intense scrutiny. Rising war-risk insurance premiums and suspended tanker traffic are already slowing the movement of oil, creating ripple effects in global supply chains.

JPMorgan has warned that prolonged disruptions over three weeks could force Gulf producers to reduce output, potentially pushing Brent crude prices to between $100 and $120 a barrel. Markets are closely watching for developments that could reshape global energy pricing.
