The House Committee has been successful in securing Donald Trump’s tax returns
Six years worth of Donald Trump’s tax returns are now in the hands of the House Committee.
The probe lead by Democratic Representative Richard Neal, will look into the former Presidents financial dealings.
With a particular focus on his time as President, the investigation will assess whether Trump defied the law. It will investigate the former leaders financial movements personally and professionally.
The win for Democrats comes despite efforts by Trump’s legal team to keep them a secret.
The House panel will meet on Thursday to discuss the next steps of the probe.
However, they won’t be made public just yet.
