Former US President Donald Trump is making headlines across the world after revealing he decided to receive his COVID booster shot

Back in September former US President Donald Trump told the Wall Street Journal that he had no intentions on receiving a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

The former president told the Wall Street Journal back in September that he wasn’t planning to get boosted.

The comments by Trump – who, despite championing his administration’s efforts to develop COVID-19 vaccines, rarely discusses his own vaccination and has largely declined to encourage others to get it – came during a stop of his tour with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.

In a video tweeted by O’Reilly’s No Spin News, the former Fox News host says, “Both the President and I are vaxxed” to which he then asks Mr Trump if he got the booster.

“Did you get the booster?”

Trump then called out members of the crowd that booed him after he made answered O’Reilly’s question.

“Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t,” Mr Trump says in the video, seemingly trying to quiet the boos.”That’s all right, it’s a very tiny group over there.”

Trump’s media team has not formally released any statement regarding the event.
