The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2022 inductees were announced Wednesday and Dolly’s on the list!
One of America’s greatest country singers is celebrating today with Dolly Parton officially voted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Back in March, the singer stated that she was “extremely flattered” to be nominated but felt she had not “earned the right” to be counted as a rock artist.
However, her bid to opt-out was too late after the ballots had already gone out.
As a result, the star will be inducted in November alongside other major rock stars including Eminem.
Other new entrants include soul legend Lionel Richie and Hit Me With Your Best Shot singer Pat Benatar.
