Dodge has the ambition of launching an electric muscle car by 2024

The Dodge Charger Dayton SRT will be the first battery-powered muscle car the brand will launch in two years’ time.

Dodge is ending the production of its current internal combustion engine-powered Charger sedan and Challenger Coupe models in 2023, for more environmentally-friendly alternatives.

Passengers and passers will be able to hear a loud exhaust system in the new cars, something which goes the current grain of electric vehicles.

Showrooms can expect to see a vehicle towards the end of next year.
