A major market correction could emerge from the AI sector, where an “overwhelming amount” of global investment is concentrated, according to Filip Tortevski.
Tortevski says the exposure extends beyond major technology companies, with Taiwan, South Korea, the US and Australia’s commodities market all linked to the AI investment cycle.
He warns that a slowdown or correction in AI spending could therefore have broader consequences, potentially being felt across markets and economies tied to the sector’s rapid expansion.
