Families of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting are claiming conspiracy theorist Alex Jones is trying to avoid paying compensation

A Jury ordered Jones pay the families over $45 million in damages for claims the shooting was a hoax.

The families believe Jones is funnelling millions in assets to relatives, in a bid to seek bankruptcy.

In addition, the families have filed a motion to the Federal Bankruptcy Court in Houston, calling for Jones to give up control of his far-right website.

They will also be ensuring a committee investigates Jones’ finances to ensure complete “transparency”
