British soldier Simon Lingard has been killed in Ukraine
British soldier Simon Lingard has been killed while fighting in the Ukraine war.
The UK national died during an attack on his unit.
His traumatised family have described him as “the bravest man” fighting “for what he believed was right.”
His 17-year-old son Jackson said, “I can’t put into words how much he is missed…I love you dad, i’m so proud of you.”
Lingard had spent most of his life serving as a soldier.
