North Korea fired what appeared to be a ballistic missile on Tuesday, according Japan’s Coast Guard, in the latest test of weaponry since the country ramped up provocations last month.

South Korean officials also stated in a text message that an ‘unidentified projectile’ was fired towards the waters between the Korean Peninsula and Japan.

North and South Korea technically remain at war as the Korean War, which split the peninsula into two countries, ended in 1953 with an armistice.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said last week that he did not wish for war to break out on the Korean peninsula again, but said his country needed to continue developing weapons for self-defence against enemies, namely the US which he accused of hostility.

In the past 24 hours, the United States envoy to North Korea Sung Kim has reiterated the stance of Joe Biden’s administration holding a meeting with North Korea without pre-conditions.

Previous talks between the US and North Korea broke down due to fundamental disagreements on denuclearisation.

America is requesting North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons before sanctions can be eased, however, North Korea has so far refused.

American home prices are rising at faster pace now than in the last 20-years.

A recent analysis reveals a jaw dropping surge in the cost of American homes.

Since the start of 2020, U.S. home prices have surged 47% easily outstripping the gains seen in recent decades.

On top of that, home price growth so far this decade is on the verge of surpassing all the growth seen in the 2000s.

Many experts believe this decade’s housing market frenzy was ignited by a perfect storm — the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic triggering an unprecedented rush among buyers.

Tom Hutchens, the Executive Vice President of Production at Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions joins Veronica Dudo to discuss.
