Australian Media companies have successfully challenged temporary airspace restrictions in Melbourne’s CBD
The move would have prevented media from broadcasting LIVE aerial footage of protests.
Nine, the Seven Network and ABC were granted a stay on Thursday against two notices that banned helicopters from flying above the CBD and showing live footage of the unrest.
It follows media organisations taking Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority to the Federal Court following the ban
