The Matildas and Olyroos have been dealt tough groups for July’s Tokyo Olympics football competition.
The Olyroos have been drawn alongside heavyweights Spain and Argentina, plus African powerhouse Egypt, all of whom were Under 23 continental champions.
The Matildas face 2019 World Cup champions and world No.1 USA, plus world No. 5 Sweden and New Zealand.
Australia has never claimed an Olympic medal in football, with the Olyroos qualifying for the first time since 2008.
The football tournaments kick off in Tokyo on July 21.
