The Aussie Socceroos have won against the UAE, keeping their chances of the 2022 Qatar World Cup firmly alive

The Australian Socceroos didn’t disappoint in their fight for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, defeating the United Arab Emirates 2-1.

Meaning their chance to qualify for the World Cup is in reach.

It was a massive mental test for the Socceroos to remain focused and clinch their victory.

The score was stuck at 1-1, until the 83rd minute.

A monumental strike from Ajdin Hrustic, just 10 minutes from full-time, set the Aussie team ahead.

“Proud of the boys”.

“We knew they’d sit back and we didn’t want to play a game where we opened the field up too much because they’ve got some quality players,” the coach said.

“We’ll improve even more for the next game.

“Overall I thought that defensively we were good and I saw a good reaction tonight. That’s what I’ve been driving to the boys ever since I came into camp about the Aussie DNA and that is kick, fight, scratch and do whatever you can to win the game.

“However we win it, who cares, just win it.”

They’re one step closer to World Cup glory, but first, they will face Peru in the intercontinental playoff on Tuesday.

If they win against Peru, they will be headed to Qatar to play in the World Cup in November.

This would be the Aussie men’s fifth straight World Cup.

Australia’s multimillion-dollar campaign to attract Hollywood productions to its shores appears to be paying off.

The allure of Australia lies not only in its picturesque locations but also in its competitive financial incentives.

The government offers generous rebates and tax breaks to international productions, making it an attractive proposition for filmmakers looking to maximise their budgets.

Despite the recent intake of Hollywood productions down under such as ‘The Fall Guy’ and ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’, Aussie independents are still finding the space to carve their own creative path.

Rob Fantozzi joined the program to discuss the latest in Hollywood, and showcased his own upcoming project – ‘Omerta‘. #featured

American home prices are rising at faster pace now than in the last 20-years.

A recent analysis reveals a jaw dropping surge in the cost of American homes.

Since the start of 2020, U.S. home prices have surged 47% easily outstripping the gains seen in recent decades.

On top of that, home price growth so far this decade is on the verge of surpassing all the growth seen in the 2000s.

Many experts believe this decade’s housing market frenzy was ignited by a perfect storm — the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic triggering an unprecedented rush among buyers.

Tom Hutchens, the Executive Vice President of Production at Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions joins Veronica Dudo to discuss.
