The Biden administration has announced $1 billion in new funding for the country’s national broadband infrastructure

The funding is designed to be a critical step forward in ensuring every American has access to “high-speed, affordable and high-quality broadband”.

“This funding is an important step forward, but we cannot stop here.
…access to broadband is as essential as electricity to our everyday life.”

The Federal Communications Commission has estimated that about one-third of people living on tribal lands don’t have access to high-speed internet, but others say the figure is much higher.

Vice President Kamala Harris says the administration is determined to have 100 percent of Americans connected to the infrastructure network and create a whole lot of new jobs in the meantime.

American home prices are rising at faster pace now than in the last 20-years.

A recent analysis reveals a jaw dropping surge in the cost of American homes.

Since the start of 2020, U.S. home prices have surged 47% easily outstripping the gains seen in recent decades.

On top of that, home price growth so far this decade is on the verge of surpassing all the growth seen in the 2000s.

Many experts believe this decade’s housing market frenzy was ignited by a perfect storm — the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic triggering an unprecedented rush among buyers.
