Forget cars, trucks and electric bikes your next Amazon delivery could be transported by a drone
Parcels will soon be delivered by drones to customers in the Californian town of Lockeford.
Users can sign up to the service with thousands of goods able to be delivered this way.
The drones will deliver parcels by air within an hour dropping them in customers’ backyards.
The company will begin this new venture later this year once receiving final regulatory approval.
Amazon has been considering drone delivery for the last few years but has been slowed down by delays.
The company plans on making the service available to more users in other areas in the near future.
