Neighbours will return to TV next year after Amazon swooped in to breathe new life into the Aussie soap.

The long-running soap ended in July after 37 years on air.

The show, which kick-started the careers of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Margot Robbie and Guy Pearce, will go back into production within months.

It’s believed new episodes will premiere next year.

And it will bring back favourite characters including Stefan Dennis as Paul Robinson, Alan Fletcher as Karl Kennedy, Ryan Moloney as Toadie Rebecchi, and Jackie Woodburne as Susan Kennedy.

Advertising-supported streamer Freevee will become the new U.K. and U.S. home for the beloved series, which helped launch the careers of Margot Robbie and Russell Crowe and was thought to have ended this summer after 37 years on air.

In Australia, it will return to its home of Network 10, where it has aired for the past 36 years.

Under the deal, India will end its purchases of Russian oil while increasing imports of U.S. energy and other products. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the agreement, saying it will strengthen India’s economic growth and global trade relationships.
