Nearly 200 stranded whales have died on a beach in Australia

The pilot whales were stranded on Tasmania’s west coast, as rescue efforts continue.

Around 230 whales became stranded on Wednesday, with around 35 still alive.

Volunteers with a background in marine wildlife training are helping authorities with the recovery.
