Shanghai’s Disneyland announces reopening date

As lockdowns ease in China Shanghai’s Disneyland has announced it will reopen on June 30

The company notified fans through its Weibo account saying “The magic is back!”.

Disneytown and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel reopened earlier in the month on June 16 but the Disney resort’s reopening has been delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

China has endured fresh waves of coronavirus cases since March prompting the government to enact measures to stop to spread.
