Over $100 million worth of crypto has been donated to Ukraine to help buy food, medicines, and helmets.

Four days after the invasion started, Tokenist reported that Ukraine received $20 million in crypto donations…

By last week… Ukraine’s Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation noted a five-fold increase, up to nearly $100 million.

It comes as some crypto companies banned Russian-linked accounts believed to be connected to sanctioned individuals.

Instead of relying on gatekeepers, such as banks or charities, crypto donations can be done directly from wallet to wallet from anywhere in the world.

This has allowed Ukraine to raise crypto funds quickly

Recently Ukraine’s Deputy provided a background of how the country had used its crypto donations so far…

He says the funds were used to purchase bulletproof vests, medicines, food, thermal imager and optics, and helmets.

Due to ongoing success… Ukraine Plans to Launch an NFT Collection to Raise More Funds for the country fighting war.
